Boiler Condensate Feed Tank

Non-code condensate receiver tanks are recommended when there is a high rate of condensate return and minimal make-up water is required. Our CF feedwater systems are designed to receive condensate and prepare it for return to the boiler. They can also be paired with a deaerator to accommodate condensate surges that would otherwise be lost through the deaerator’s overflow drain. Precision Boilers’ CF feedwater systems are custom designed to include the appropriate pump and control packages that best fit the application requirements.

Options

An optional Sparge-Tube Preheater installed inside the storage tank below surface of condensate injects boiler supplied steam that reheats the condensate to the prescribed temperature (212°F) before pumping it as feedwater to the boiler(s). Feedwater pumps can be configured for various control setups, including intermittent duty (on-off pump/motor control), continuous-run (with pump recirculation loop), or precisely modulated by a Variable Frequency Drive control for improved efficiency and energy savings.
