Model FTS Gas Steam Boiler

The FTS Flexible Watertube Steam Boiler is a flextube forced draft design offers high fuel-to-output efficiency in a compact, maintenance-friendly boiler design.  The FTS Flexible Watertube Steam Boiler harnesses natural heat convection to ensure consistent internal heat distribution and complete internal feedwater circulation.

Options

All models can be supplied in a ‘knock-down’ condition to fit where access is limited, then reassembled with NO on-site code welding required

Features & Benefits

  • Individual carbon steel tubes bent into a serpentine configuration connect the lower return water vessel to the upper water-to-steam separation vessel to form a 5-pass heat transfer space providing a minimum 5 sq. ft. of heating surface per BHP.
  • Separate down-comers connect the upper and lower vessels outside the boiler cabinet to optimize natural internal convection and water circulation through the heating tubes.
  • Pressure vessel generates steam rapidly without the risk of thermal shock.
  • FTS-1/2/3 series are configured with tangent water walls on 3 sides of the combustion chamber, requiring tube removal clearance on only one side of the boiler.
  • FTS-4/5/6 series are configured with tangent water walls on 4 sides of the combustion chamber, requiring tube removal clearance on both sides of the boiler.
